• How does the design process work?

  Our process typically includes an initial virtual consultation with a member of our experienced team, concept development, gemstone selection, design approval and final crafting. We keep you involved every step of the way to ensure the finished piece meets your expectations.

• Do I need to know exactly what I want before starting?

  Not at all.  Although we are sure you already have an idea of the kind of ring you would like, our Team is able to guide you through ideas, metals, stones and styles during the consultation, but it does help for you to share any initial thoughts and inspiration.

• How does the virtual consultation work?

  Our preference is to meet with you virtually via a Teams call that we schedule but we are also able to offer a consultation via teams without camera or via telephone.  We’ve successfully worked with Customers remotely to create their dream pieces.

• Can I add engraving to my ring?

  Absolutely. You can personalize your ring with engraving—monograms, meaningful dates, or short messages. This is discussed during the design process.

• Can I use my own stones or heirloom jewellery?

  Yes! We can incorporate your existing gemstones or repurpose heirloom pieces into a new design, provided they are in good condition.  Our Team can discuss this with you during your consultation.

• Can you match my engagement ring with a wedding band?

  Yes. We offer optional scanning of your existing ring to create a perfectly fitted wedding band.

• Do you offer warranties or aftercare?

  We offer a warranty on craftsmanship and provide guidance on caring for your jewellery. We also offer cleaning, resizing, and repair services.

• How do I find my UK ring size?

  We can send you a Carrie Elizabeth Ring Sizer for you to find the perfect fit.  Our Team is also able to provide guidance on finding the perfect fit. Once confirmed to proceed we will send you a Carrie Elizabeth Ring Sizer to ensure you have the perfect fit.

• How long does the bespoke process take?

  The bespoke process typically takes between 8-10 weeks. This can vary depending on design complexity or amendments. If you have a specific deadline, we’re happy to accommodate—just let us know.

• How long does a Carrie Elizabeth bespoke piece take to make?

  On average a custom piece takes 2-4 weeks from initial consultation to confirming your design, and then 6 weeks until completion and delivery of your bespoke design.  However, this will depend on your personal requirements, and your decision-making process. • How will my ring be delivered?

  Your bespoke piece will be delivered in our signature grey velvet Carrie Elizabeth ring box using Royal Mail Special Signed for Delivery.

• Is your jewellery insured during delivery?

  Yes, all deliveries are fully insured and tracked for your peace of mind.

• What do I need to prepare before my consultation?

• What if I need to make changes after the design is approved?

  During the design process we can adapt the design to your requirements, so that the ring is exactly how you imagined it.  Once the design has been approved and deposit sent, changes are not possible.

• What is the difference between natural and lab-grown diamonds?

  Both have the same chemical and physical properties. Lab-grown diamonds are created in a laboratory rather than mined, and are therefore more affordable, giving you more flexibility with carat size or quality for your budget. Lab-grown diamonds are also considered to be a more sustainable choice.

• What is the returns policy for a Carrie Elizabeth Bespoke Item?

  As these pieces are specifically made in line with your personal requirements, we are not able to offer an exchange or refund.  Any amendments to sizing would incur a charge.

• What’s the cost of the Carrie Elizabeth Bespoke Service

  We work with a UK based Jeweller for these bespoke rings.

• Which metals and stones do you offer in your Carrie Elizabeth bespoke pieces?

• Will I get to see a sketch or model before it’s made?

  Yes. We provide sketches and/or 3D renderings so you can visualize the design before production begins. Adjustments can be made at this stage.

• Will my Carrie Elizabeth Bespoke Ring be hallmarked?

  All of our Rings are hallmarked at our Jewellers in Birmingham.

• Will my diamond be certified?

  Yes. Every diamond comes with an independent certificate (typically GIA or IGI), confirming its quality and characteristics.
